There Was a Boy

There was a boy, he sat alone at an empty table at a café.

There was a boy, his eyes seemed to lack a certain twinkle.

There was a boy, he always kept his head lowered, eyes on the bank pages in front of him.

There was a boy, his lips never curved up into a smile.

There was a boy, he had blue eyes that only held sadness.

There was a boy, his heart was split into a million pieces.

There was a boy, he heard nothing but silence.

There was a boy, his tears flowed down his cheeks everyday.

There was a boy, he always felt helpless.

There was a girl, her eyes were bright and happy.

There was a girl, her lips always curved up into a smile.

There was a girl, she went to the café everyday.

There was a girl, her eyes landed on someone one day.

It was a boy, he looked so lifeless.

There was a girl, she went over to an occupied table.

There was a boy, he looked up when he was approached.

It was a girl, her eyes bright as the day.

There was a girl, she sat down at a table where a boy sat alone.

There were months, they seemed to pass by quickly.

There was a boy, who once seemed so lifeless.

There was a boy, who was no longer sad and helpless.

There was a boy and a girl, they sat together at a table.

there was a boy and a girl, both their eyes filled with a twinkle.

There was a boy, he was happy.
